Strawberry Hot Chocolate Bombs Recipe

A strawberry hot chocolate bomb is a chocolate sphere filled with hot chocolate mix and strawberry flavorings. To use one, you place the bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it. As the chocolate melts, it releases the hot chocolate mix and strawberry flavorings, creating a delicious, creamy strawberry hot chocolate.

To make strawberry hot chocolate bombs, you will need:

  • Chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
  • Strawberry hot chocolate mix
  • Strawberry extract or freeze-dried strawberries (optional)
  • A silicone sphere mold
  • A microwave-safe bowl

Here’s how to make them:

  1. Melt the chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips in the microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into the silicone sphere mold, making sure to coat the entire inside of the mold. Tap the mold gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
  3. Place the mold in the fridge or freezer for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
  4. Carefully remove the chocolate spheres from the mold and place them on a plate.
  5. Fill one-half of each sphere with strawberry hot chocolate mix and a pinch of strawberry extract or freeze-dried strawberries (if using).
  6. Place the other half of the sphere on top and press gently to seal the two halves together.
  7. To use the hot chocolate bomb, place it in a mug and pour hot milk over it. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the hot chocolate mix is fully dissolved.

Enjoy your delicious strawberry hot chocolate!
